Types of tasks include, but are not limited to:

Caring for our animals and ensuring that their living space is properly cleaned, disinfected and comfortable for them is extremely important. The majority of cleaning is done in the mornings between 8:00 a.m. and noon (times may vary slightly depending on the volume of animals at the time), although there are also various other animal care projects that can be completed in the afternoons.

• Providing food, water, litter, clean beds and toys to animals
• Vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, etc. of communal cat rooms
• Cleaning of cat cages
• Spraying down and squeegeeing kennels
• Let dogs out into the yards and clean up after them
• Brushing animals
• Giving baths
