Our New Leash on Life Thrift Shop is a vital part of the continued service provided by the Susquehanna SPCA with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the shelter.

Hours of Operation

How to Donate Items

First, call (607) 547-9462 to speak with a donation coordinator
Donations can be delivered to the New Leash on Life Thrift Shop at 5082-5088 State Highway 28, Cooperstown, NY during operating hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment.
An associate will assist you when you arrive with your donation.
Tax deduction forms are available for donations.

We do not accept:

Box springs
Cleaners
Encyclopedias
Fluorescent lamps
Hazardous waste items
Mattresses
Paint
Sofa beds
TVs that aren’t flat screened

Please note that we can only take items in perfect or “next to new” condition. Items that do not meet this standard will not be accepted due to the cost of disposal. Please do not leave items unattended. Our grounds are under 24/7 surveillance.
